Terms and Conditions

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using RecruitX AI, you agree to these Terms and Conditions, along with the Privacy Policy and Refund Policy below, collectively the "Terms." If you do not agree, do not use the product.

2. What RecruitX AI Is

RecruitX AI is a hiring evaluation tool, provided as a Chrome extension and a web application, that scores job candidates against hiring criteria set by the account holder, drawing on resumes, form submissions, and public profile content the account holder chooses to evaluate. The product does not make hiring decisions. All outputs, scores, summaries, and evidence, are decision support only, and the account holder is solely responsible for all hiring decisions made using the product.

3. Eligibility and Accounts

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. You agree to provide accurate information at signup and to keep it current.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree to use RecruitX AI only for legitimate hiring and recruiting purposes, and specifically agree not to:

• Automated browsing prohibition: Use the Sourcing extension for automated, bulk, or high-velocity browsing of LinkedIn, Naukri, Indeed, or any similar platform. The extension is designed for single-profile, manually triggered use only; using it, or any other tool, to automate browsing on these platforms is your responsibility and may violate those platforms' own terms of service, for which RecruitX AI accepts no liability.
• Lawful data basis: Upload, submit, or process data you do not have a lawful right or basis to process, including candidate data collected in violation of applicable privacy or employment law.
• Security and limits: Attempt to circumvent usage limits, security measures, or plan entitlements.
• Non-discrimination: Use the product to discriminate against candidates on the basis of any legally protected characteristic. RecruitX AI's scoring engine is built to evaluate qualifications only and is explicitly instructed not to consider protected characteristics; you remain independently responsible for lawful, non-discriminatory hiring practices.
• Commercial restrictions: Reverse engineer, resell, or use the product to build a competing service.
• Legal compliance: Use the product in any way that violates applicable law.

Violation of this section may result in suspension or termination of your account.

5. Your Data and Content

You retain ownership of all job descriptions, candidate data, and other content you submit to RecruitX AI ("Your Content"). You grant us a limited license to process Your Content solely to provide the service to you, including sending it to our AI processing providers as described in the Privacy Policy. You represent that you have the necessary rights and legal basis to submit any candidate data you upload or connect to the product.

6. AI Output Disclaimer

Scores, summaries, and evidence generated by RecruitX AI are produced by automated systems and, while built with guardrails intended to minimize fabricated or unsupported claims, may contain errors, omissions, or inaccuracies. RecruitX AI does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any score, summary, or evidence produced, and these outputs should not be the sole basis for any hiring decision. You are responsible for independently verifying any information material to a hiring decision before acting on it.

7. Third-Party Platforms and Connections

RecruitX AI integrates with third-party platforms, including but not limited to LinkedIn, Naukri, Indeed, Google Sheets, Google Drive, Gmail, Outlook, Typeform, Tally, JotForm, Airtable, and Notion. Your use of these integrations is subject to each platform's own terms of service, which you are responsible for complying with. We are not responsible for changes, outages, or restrictions imposed by these third-party platforms that affect RecruitX AI's functionality.

8. Subscriptions and Billing

• Plans. RecruitX AI offers a Free plan and paid subscription plans (Pro, Team/Agency), each with its own usage limits and features as described on our pricing page, which may be updated from time to time.
• Billing cycle. Paid plans are billed either monthly or quarterly, as selected at checkout. Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period at the then-current price for your plan and billing cycle, unless cancelled before the renewal date.
• Price changes. We may change subscription prices with at least 30 days' notice to existing subscribers by email or in-product notice. Price changes take effect at your next renewal.
• Team/Agency seats. The Team plan includes a set number of seats. Additional seats may be added at the per-seat price in effect at the time, billed as a prorated addition to your current billing period. Removing a team member frees that seat for reassignment but does not automatically reduce your billing; reducing the number of purchased seats is a separate action and takes effect at your next billing cycle.
• Payment processing. All payments are processed by Dodo Payments. By subscribing, you agree to Dodo Payments' applicable terms for processing your payment.
• Failed payments. If a renewal payment fails, we will attempt to notify you and may apply a grace period consistent with our payment processor's retry schedule before downgrading your account to the Free plan.
• Cancellation. You may cancel your subscription at any time from account settings. Cancellation stops future renewals; you retain access to your plan's features through the end of the billing period you already paid for. No partial refund is issued for the unused portion of a cancelled billing period, see the Refund Policy below.

9. Free Plan Limits

The Free plan is subject to usage limits (including a monthly cap on candidate evaluations and a limit on active roles) as described on our pricing page. We reserve the right to adjust Free plan limits with notice.

10. Intellectual Property

RecruitX AI, including its software, design, trademarks, and underlying technology, is owned by Piyush and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Nothing in these Terms grants you any ownership interest in the product itself.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account for violation of these Terms, including the Acceptable Use provisions in Section 4. You may close your account at any time from account settings. Upon termination, your access ends and your data is handled per the retention terms in the Privacy Policy.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, RecruitX AI and its operator are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the product, including but not limited to hiring decisions made using the product's outputs, or any action taken or restriction imposed by a third-party platform (such as LinkedIn) in connection with your use of the product. Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold RecruitX AI and its operator harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your violation of these Terms, your violation of a third-party platform's terms of service, or your use of the product in a manner that violates applicable law, including employment and data protection law.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified by email or in-product notice before taking effect. Continued use of the product after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, and any disputes arising from these Terms are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Banda, Uttar Pradesh, India.
